Principle of Operation

The test medium is placed in an easily exchangeable test vessel. Mixing duration and intensity are freely configurable. Once started, the basket stirrers are automatically lowered and the test solution is foamed using the selected parameters.
The subsequent foam decay is recorded by optical sensors. An integral value derived from height and time provides a quantitative measure of foam stability.

Evaluation & Application
Quantifying foam stability
- Online display of foam breakdown as a curve
- Integral value as a measure of foam stability
- Rapid verification of defoamer efficiency
- Combinable with a pumping system – pump is controlled via foam tester software
- Flexibly configurable test sequences
